Aiyoh mama, I can hear how exhausted you are, that constant crying and clingyness after the fever is really tough. A few of us have gone through something similar with our toddlers, and sometimes after a bout of illness they become extra clingy and emotional for a bit as they recover emotionally, not just physically. That said, since this is such a sudden change from his normal happy self and the crying is relentless, I'd definitely get him checked by the pediatrician just to rule out anything lingering (ear infection, teething flare-up, or even post-illness sensitivity), it'll give you peace of mind. In the meantime, try to give yourself grace lah, mama, your little one is probably still feeling unsettled from being sick, and he needs your comfort right now even though it's draining for you. Maybe try to carve out just 10 minutes when you know you're at your limit to step away (ask hubby or someone to sit with him) so you can breathe, because you can't pour from an empty cup, yeah?
