Period after delivery

6weeks pp, full breast feeding. However I still have my period coming randomly. Not full period but red stains can fill up panty liner. FTM here. I always thought that breast feeding mummies won't have their period? Any mummies encounter the same situation? Is it normal?

I had my very first menses 6 month pp. That was very little like yours too. 10 month pp I had the super heavy one that I nearly fainted. I guess diff mummy experience differently. But it's normal. Whenever there's menses I'll take my milk booster cos I'm worried milk supply will drop which occurs in many mummy. Maybe you want take note of this when you have your next menses.

Lochia will last for 4-6 weeks and doesn't count as period. If you're breastfeeding exclusively you most likely won't have a period for the next 6 months 😁
