My 3m old son wakes up from sleep as I stop moving the cradle.For hrs I have to move it so that he gets sound sleep.What can help ?

Thank you both of u for the advice.I have started to slow down the cradle and when I find him sleepy I keep him near me on the bed.At times he's sleepy and cranky that time I have to put him the cradle and move.I also put songs and sing then he sleeps.
