How Does Braxton Hicks Feel Like?

35 weeks now and have read about braxton hicks. However I don't seem to experience or recognise them? How does it feel like? Is it normal to not experience it yet at 35 weeks?

Every night, when I go to bed.. I have a hard time whenever I get up to pee. i feel mild-severe contractions on my lower abdoment and it hurts whenever i take a step. is that Braxton Hicks as well? anyone feels the same thing?
