hi mommy! iba iba ang response ng katawan ng mommies. may iba na dueing pregnancy may milk na, may iba naman na pagkapanganak. still others like me, 2 days after manganak tsaka palang ako nagkamilk 😊 really depends sa bodies natin, pero once magtuloy tuloy na latch si baby mo sayo, magkakamilk ka na nyan. here are some advices na natutunan ko lang din: Remember that a newborn baby's tummy is only as big as a calamansi. imagine how small it is. that's the only required per feeding pero frequent sila na every 2-3hrs dumedede. so don't be stressed out kasi may madedede naman si baby sayo. 😊 use hot compress and massage your boobies also. continue to make your baby latch on you. check the ff: 1. correct position ni baby 2. correct latch ni baby 3. check if barado boobies or inverted nipple 4. you're not stressed. nakakababa ng milk flow ang stress. 5. may ibang reasons pa kung bakit naiyak si baby: kabag, dirty diapers, too cold, too hot, too noisy, feels lonely, etc. hindi laging gutom ang dahilan ng pag iyak. Lastly, don't use an electric pump yet pagkapanganak. Breastmilk is supply and demand - meaning kung gano karami dinedede ni baby, ganun dib karami ang ipproduce niya. usually electric pump causes oversupply of milk that can result to engorged boobs and mastitis if not emptied properly. Usually after manganak mommy, dun lumalabas ang gatas sa breast. 😊
