Baby smiling himself

My 2 month old baby is starting to smile very often now. He will smile when we talk to him. But notice that he will also smile himself when nobody is around. Is that normal?

That’s pretty normal, your baby is just practicing the new skill he just learned. It could also mean he’s content and happy. Don’t overthink haha

yes, it is very normal that they smile at everything they can see, they progress from blurred, black and white world to a clearer and colourful world.

Yes normal haha. Mine laughed to himself . He's 10 months now and has thankfully stopped doing tt for no reason lol
