Prevent Pre eclampsia
1st time pregnancy and high risk due to hypertension. 130/90bp at 22 wks. Help namn to prevent pre eclampsia. Big help to hear your stories and experience.

Ay, congrats on your first pregnancy, sis! That BP reading at 22 weeks is something you definitely need to keep a close eye on, it's good na nag-reach out. From what I've heard from other mums with high BP during pregnancy, the biggest thing is really consistent prenatal checkups, lalo na if you have hypertension going in. My friend actually went through something similar, and her OB put her on low-dose aspirin early on as part of prevention, plus strict monitoring of her BP at home and urine checks, she delivered safely at 38 weeks with no complications, alhamdulillah. Most mums I know say the game-changer is catching any changes early through regular visits, at least biweekly once you hit higher risk, and being strict about your diet (low salt, mataas protein, plenty water). Some also swear by stress management and staying active, pero always with clearance from your doctor, of course. The hard truth that one tita shared is that preeclampsia can develop even with best efforts, but detected early and managed well, sobrang dami nang successful births na. Definitely talk to your OB or maternal-fetal medicine specialist about your personal prevention plan, they might recommend specific meds, monitoring schedule, or when they'd want to deliver. Wishing you a healthy rest of your pregnancy!
