It’s usually recommended to sleep on your side during pregnancy, especially as you progress later on. The most recommended is on the left side, so that baby doesn’t press down on the big blood vessel that brings blood back to the heart, but honestly, lying on the right side for a while’s perfectly fine:) If you need to lie on your back for a while, prop yourself up with pillows. Lying only on the left the whole night can be uncomfortable.

The recommendation is side sleeping, while some moms prefer the left due to less pressure on the organs. Can use pillows or specialised pregnancy bolsters to support. Sleeping on the back may cause power birth weight of the baby due to pressure that restricts blood flow in a major blood vessel that circulates to reach the baby.

Best to sleep on your left, better blood circulation for baby & mummy. However I also feel more comfortable on my right, so what I did was I try to sleep on my left only when I am awake/conscious before I fell asleep.

I’m sleeping on my left and I put pillows on my right to prevent myself from turning over as I always end up on my back (my usual sleeping habit before pregnancy)

I usually slept on my right side, because it's comfortable to me and it's not advisable to lay your back on the bed because it will hurt your spine. 😩

Ideally on the left side. But right side is fine too. Whichever is more comfortable for u to have a good sleep. Just not on your back.
