Is this normal?

My 12mo started infantcare last 3 months. But he keep falling sick since he started. Now is the 5th time within 3 months. High fever mostly and sometimes flu which lasts for a week at least. Because of this, he miss school a lot and is still not used to infantcare. I read that its normal for kids to fall sick easily but isn’t this too frequent? I feel like this is a waste of time & money. might as well just take care of him on my own. He’s already been tested negative for covid btw

It is extremely common, since all the kids don’t wear masks and share toys, plus they may not wash hands frequently. My daughter use to fall sick a lot too, until they started wearing masks in Nursery and washing hands. She did not fall sick in school the entire year last year.

my baby has this issue when she is around 12 month fever go and come rashes etc after 13 months plus she is fine again. I think it's due to my baby teething. for yours I'm not sure is it the same

ur child immunity is low . he is expose to to a new environment it's quite common . take some time to boost up back .. same goes for my girls

Might be because of change of environment. Usually it’ll go away with time
