food for 9-10mths old infant

Hello mummies, please share with me what's the estimated portion of your 9-10mths LO eating for BF, lunch and dinner. What is the food you served? Fruits you give every meal or give during snack time? TIA ??

The portion depend on individual baby. I gave my baby 1 meal a day only cos she can take 1 full bowl which I think it's really alot but if I don't give her she will fuss. In between the day i will give puff or some baby snack. Fruits I gave her apple pear banana.

shower baby 2-3 times a day

My 9mths old baby perspire alot. Morning 7.30am shower, after lunch she poo poo and perspire will have quick shower (no shampoo no foam). Then 6.30pm shower again. So daily, she will shower 2-3 times. Your LO also same?

Sometimes i also quick shower her 2 to 3 times when she poo

intro egg yolk to 9mths old infant

LO coming 9mths. I would like to intro egg yolk. What is the recommended serving for 1st time consumption? What are the common allergic reaction that no need medical attention? If LO has rashes on eyes or red patches on skin, can give telfast? TIA ?? for sharing!

Rashes (mild), mild diarrhoea During the first try, give only a tiny bit of fully cooked egg yolk. Then if there’s no reaction, you can give a little more during the next meal. The severe reaction usually doesn’t come the first time. It comes the second time onwards, so look out for that. If there’s mild reaction, stop giving the food. Keep baby hydrated (if there’s diarrhoea). Try again in a tiny amount maybe about a week later. (Don’t intro other new foods). If you keep giving tiny amounts, baby should hopefully build a tolerance. But if the reaction is more serious, (eye swelling, breathing difficulties, severe diarrhoea and unable to hydrate well, severe rashes, go to the hospital. I wouldn’t self medicate:)

postnasal drip in infant

8.5 mths LO had runny nose since last Monday. At night she don't sleep well because she will choke and cough. It's seems post nasal drip is the culprit that triggers her cough. Day time she is quite alright. Especially when she is lying down, she seems trying swallow down something then gag Abit. Any mummy Lo got similar problem? Went to PD on Thursday, prescribed sterimar hygiene water, iliadin, telfast and cough med to standby if she is coughing very badly. But LO seems not getting better or worse. When she sneezed, thick mucus came out from her nose. She is also teething with her 8th tooth popping out. What other ways can speed up her recovery? Humidifier? Essential oil? Balm to apply? TIA!

LO rejecting milk/ water after vomitting

8 mths old LO choke on saliva during her sleep at about 9pm. Woke up and vomitted. Try to give milk about 30mins later, doesnt want to drink at all. Offer water, suck a few times and push the bottle away. After Pat her to sleep, woke up few times irritably. I thought she wanted milk but push the bottle away. I will tried spoon feed water, but she took 3 mouth and push away again. Why like that? She has never been like that before. Now 3am, this is her usual milk time she will cry for milk, but woke and wanting me to Sayang her to sleep. No ques of hunger at all. She already got her 7th tooth popped out and 8th tooth cutting through her gums. Got related? #soworried #helpess

teether biscuits

Not sure if there are mummies like me when LO bite off a big chunk the teether biscuit and I quickly dig it out from LO's mouth. ? My LO is already 8mths. Eating cereal and puree. Teether biscuits is from organic baby. I fear it may choke LO ?

I gave the toothy rusk from bubs organic, it's so hard i couldnt even bite it myself. But my LO managed to 😅it does melt in the mouth so I'm not too worried

baby starting to crawl and sit up

My 7months old starting to crawl and sitting up on her own. She is in infant care now and fell down twice last week and 1 time fell on her back and hit her head. Luckily LO is fine after hitting her back of her head. Her ifc is wood flooring. Her care giver unable to give her 100% attention because there are still other infants that they need to handle. How to refrain LO from falling? Is it normal at their age to fall. #worriedmum

infant with rash near butthole

My LO rashes near butt hole area still cannot fully recover. Coming to 2 months already. Some days looks good and some days the redness is there. Is it because it's girl, hence it's more sensitive? Mustela didn't worked for her Purple desitin too strong for her. Cerandan was recommended by PD when we brought her in mid Jan. It got better but slight redness still there. Using Jo Lauren balm. It works well for neck and armpit rash but not her rash near her butt hole. What other diaper cream or balm would u suggest? PS: butt wash after poo, diaper brand from merries to plantinum Huggies and frequent diaper change. TIA!

How long does the bump take to subside. Bump is on top of the head. 24 hours passed,LO is drinking and playing well.
