Pooping excessively

My 1 yr baby has been pooping pretty excessively on and off for a month. Sometimes its watery but not so excessively wet. So in generally when we go to the doctor we would show her poop pictures and complain about diarrhea. The doc prescribed hidrasec and probiotics but i dun see them helping much. She has started infant care and can poop up to 5-7 times a day. Although not everytime is a full load… she’s always been sent home from school due to pooping too excessively. I’ve tried to change her milk formula to a soybased lactose free one to see if it makes any difference… has any parent have such issues before???#pleasehelp #diarrhea

Oh you poor thing, a whole month of this must be so exhausting and worrying for you. I think it would be really good to bring her back to the PD and ask for a more thorough check, maybe even a stool test, just to rule out anything like a persistent gut infection or intolerance. Changing the formula is a good step you have already taken, so do let the doctor know about that too so they can see the full picture.
