Essential oils?

Is it safe to use essential oils during pregnancy? I googled and results pop up says fine for tri2 onwards. I am still in tri1 and i don't know if it is safe to use peppermint for alleviating morning sickness. Had been abit blur and used for a couple of days before i realise i probably shouldn't use it.#1stimemom

Not sure. I am also willing to see advises here
