My toddler flu and cough been like 2 to 3 weeks still not cure. Is it ok? Cuz he's in childcare so is normal? Any soup that I can make for him to feel better? Drink medicine drink till gong gong...legs and hands cold cold

Is it ok to always drink ibuprofen if my lo fever keep maintaining at above 38.5 degree? When I let him drink it did become low but after 8 hrs it become high again so I just let him drink again. I'm not sure whether it is OK anot. I'm scared if his fever didn't subside. These few days keep seeing articles of hospitals give wrong medications to toddler when they have high fever. My lo cough and flu also 1 week not ok after gng to childcare. Any way to boost his immunity? Does chinese medicine Ling Yang help in reducing fever? I dare not give him cuz he is drinking western medicine
