FTM - 5 days Postpartum

Im a C-Section ftm, too overwhelmed with everything. The urge that you have to get up and feed your baby since im a breastfeeding ftm. Then you'll get frustrated kapag hindi mo ma feed ng maayos si baby. Nakakapagod. Everyone is excited for the baby, but who will be taking care of you?

Mama, five days postpartum after a C-section, you're literally healing from major surgery while learning to breastfeed, kaya of course you're overwhelmed, yan normal talaga. A few of us moms went through the exact same thing, and honestly, the frustration with latching and the pressure to "do it right" on top of physical exhaustion is so real, but you need to be gentler with yourself right now, your body needs rest din, not just baby care. Please talk to your partner, mom, or whoever's with you about taking actual breaks (sleep, showers, eating proper meals), and consider checking in with your OB or a lactation consultant kasi sometimes the breastfeeding struggle can be solved with a bit of positioning help or support, which takes the pressure off. You matter too, hindi ka selfish for needing care, in fact, taking care of yourself is taking care of baby, because you can't pour from an empty cup. Hugs, mama, this phase will pass.

FTM - Delivered

EDD: August 23, 2026 DOB: August 07, 2026 8 hours labour ended up CS Stuck at 7cm dilated. Strong contractions, my baby's heart rate dilated. Mixed emotions after you give birth.

Ate, I'm so sorry you went through that, ang tough talaga ng emergency CS after laboring for 8 hours, parang emotionally draining talaga. A few of us mums had similar situations (stuck dilation, baby's heart rate concerns) and honestly, those mixed feelings right after are so valid, it's okay to feel relieved, disappointed, traumatized, grateful all at once, walang "right" emotion. I'd really suggest talking to your OB about what happened during your labor and delivery kasi it helps A LOT to understand bakit kailangan ng CS, and maybe even a therapist or counselor if the emotional side is still heavy, alam ko maraming hospitals dito nag-aalok nito, at nakaktulong talaga. For now, be gentle sa sarili mo, and lean on your partner, family, or mum friends who get it. How are you healing physically?
