turning 39 weeks

38 weeks 5 days na kami ni baby mga momshie,. pero still no sign of labor,. last check up ko 37 weeks 4 days close cervix pa..panay lakad ko umaga at hapon tas squat squat din.. any tips po para mag open cervix na po.. wala pa naman kasi advice ung midwife kung pd turukan nung pampaopen ng cervix..gusto ko na sana makaraos.. #advicepls #1stimemom

Hay, I totally get the impatience, almost 39 weeks na talaga is exhausting! A few of us moms tried the usual stuff like walking, squats, and pineapple, but honestly nothing really "guaranteed" it for us; what happened happened sa tamang oras lang. Since your cervix was still closed at your last check and your midwife hasn't given you specific go-ahead for anything, I'd really suggest asking her directly next visit about what's safe for you specifically, maybe she'll have suggestions based on how your pregnancy is going, or she might want to check again soon since you're getting closer na. Kaya mo yan mama, sometimes our bodies just need a bit more time kahit nakakamadali na!
