READINESS TO EAT

Hi mommies! Help pls first time mom po ako. My baby just turned 6 mos old. Should I wait for him yung mga signs of readiness to eat or pwede ko na sya pakainin kahit wala pa syang interest sa food? Or should I wait 1-2 weeks pa until I can see a sign na ready na sya? Help mga fellow mommies. ##advicepls #pleasehelp #1stimemom #firstbaby #theasianparentph

You can introduce yung mga puree momsh. Cerelac also. It would help kung makita or mapanood nya kayo kumakain.

Moro Reflex/Startle Reflex

Hi mommies! Going 4 months na si LO and hndi pa rin nwwla ung moro reflex nya. :( Madalas pa rn sya magulat kahit pero pag naka-swaddle hindi naman. Kailan kaya mawawala yung ganun? Nkakaawa kasi mnsan. #1stimemom #pleasehelp #advicepls #firstbaby #worryingmom #theasianparentph

Aw mama, totally normal pa yan sa 4 months, the moro reflex usually starts fading around 5-6 months pa lang, so your LO is still within the range, hindi ka nag-aalala for nothing! The fact na hindi sya nagulat pag swaddled is actually a good sign kasi it means she feels secure, so maybe try keeping her swaddled a bit longer or use a sleep sack para she feels contained pa rin. A few of us moms noticed din na once our babies started rolling and getting stronger, the startle reflex naturally lessened na, it's like their body just outgrows it. But if you're still worried by 6 months or if it seems super exaggerated, best to mention it sa pediatrician para peace of mind lang. You're doing great, first-time mom concerns are always valid!
