What are the best cake shops in Manila? I need to get a themed birthday cake for my niece! She's obsessed with Minions, so if anyone has ever found any cake shops that design special cakes, please let me know!

Are there any Philippine based kids' magazines that are appropriate for my 8-year-old niece to read? I don't want her to read anything too "adult" for her age, but still want to encourage her to read.

Mustards Kids Magazine is a good choice too. You may want to start collecting kiddie sections from several Philippine dailies. Philippine Inquirer and Manila Bulletin have their own sections.

What are the most famous filipino movies for children? They can be of any generation.

I remember I loved Magic Temple as a child so I guess kids who are the same age as I am before would like it too. The movie was fun, adventurous and exciting and as a kid then, I feel like I wanted to have the same kind of journey as theirs. More importantly, it taught valuable lessons like importance of camaraderie, bravery, and that the good will always defeat evil :)

Are there any good places to go to watch NFL games here in the Philippines? I live in Manila and want to find a good place to go before the season starts!

Skippy's bar in BGC is a good place to watch NFL. They are also Pilipinas Aguilas' (Philippines national tackle football team) major sponsor. They have good food too and affordable beers and drinks.

I'm looking to buy a gift for my 8-year-old cousin. From what stores in Manila can I buy cool clothes for kids (around his age) without spending TOO much?

I agree with Bianca! Super cute and cheap stuff at Landmark. If you're feeling super adventurous, you can try the 888 or 999 mall in Divisoria!

Kumon is a leading expert when it comes to English and Mathematics. Some math wiz are even enrolled there so they can hone their knowlegde even more.

Best family parks in Makati and Taguig areas?

Hi, San! There is Legaspi Park and Salcedo Park in Makati where on weekends, there are a lot of food stalls where you and your families can bond while having food trip. These parks though prohibits pets so it would be a no-no if you wish to bring your pet with you. You may opt to go to Ayala Triangle which is pet-friendly as there are bins specially made for pet waste. The area is much bigger as well--clean and well-maintained.

Are there any recommended secondary language tutors in Makati?
