LUNGAD NI BABY?

Mga mi normal lang po ba na maglungad si baby na parang may kasamang plema? Tagal po kase sumagot ng pedia nya. Salamat po sa sasagot. PS: Squash Puree po yung dilaw turning 7 months na po sya ngayon.

LUNGAD NI BABY?

Hi mama! Kahit common yung baby sounds, ang lungad with phlegm-like sound is best checked by your pedia para sure na walang respiratory concern, hindi dapat maghintay ng matagal, lalo na if kasama pa itong cough o difficulty breathing, okay? A few of us moms have noticed our babies make weird sounds, pero important talaga na assessed ng doctor kasi baby's breathing is hindi dapat basta-basta lang. Mag-follow up ka na agad sa clinic niya or go to ER if baby looks distressed, para peace of mind mo. Hugs, mama, we know these things make us worried!

1ST SOLID FOOD FOR 6 MONTHS OLD BABY

Mga mii ano and pano nyo prinepare ang first solid food ni baby? She just turned 6 months today 🧡

nag-grate ng veggie, at pinalambot nang husto (dapat yung kayang imash ng spoon/fork). Inihahalo ko rin sa oats para high in fibre at sure na hindi maconstipate si baby. Pwede haluan ng breastmilk. Strictly no salt or sugar.

6 MONTHS OLD FIRST FOOD

Hi mga mhiii, ask ko lang po ano mga unang pinakain nyo sa baby nyo nung nag 6 months. Then pano nyo pinapakain sakanya salamat po 😊 #foodsfor6monthsoldbaby

Ay, congrats sa 6 months milestone! Kami naman, sinimula ko with iron-fortified baby rice cereal mixed with breastmilk kasi that's what the pedia recommended, tapos nag-introduce na kami ng pureed vegetables like carrots and sweet potato, a few of us tried starting with yellow/orange veggies muna para mas madali i-digest. I started with like 1-2 teaspoons lang, very diluted pa, then gradually nag-thicken and nag-increase ng amount as she got used to it, pero honestly best to check with your baby's pedia first para sure kung ready na talaga sya and kung ano ang best starting foods para sa baby mo!

VACCINE (PENTA & PCV) (6IN1)

Mga miii, ano po ba dapat mauna na vaccine? Penta pcv po kase wala sa mga health center. Ano po kaya mas okay unahin ko sa pedia? Pcv and penta po or 6in1?

It's either penta (5 in 1) or hexa (6 in 1). So no need na mag-penta if may hexa na, or vice-versa. Consult nyo po pedia nyo which is better for your baby, hexa or penta. PCV naman is for pneumonia.

Goodmorning mga mii, meron po ba sainyongmay alam kung saan available ang PENTA at PCV sa mva clinic na may bayad yung affordable prize po sana. Taga Paco Manila po ako. Marami g salamat po 😊

Good morning! Ang PENTA at PCV ay available talaga sa most private clinics dito sa Manila, pero ang prices talaga ay nag-vary, usually around 1,500, 2,500 per shot depending sa clinic. Try mo mag-call sa pediatric clinics near Paco like Medical City or Makati Medical, or smaller neighborhood clinics na mas affordable, para malaman mo exact pricing nila; some clinics din ay nag-offer ng package rates if gagawin mo lahat ng vaccines together. But honestly, worth it din i-check mo ang local health center mo first, kung hindi sila complete ng PENTA/PCV, they can usually refer ka sa nearest clinic na meron at mas mababa presyo. Hope you find affordable options na malapit lang sa inyo!

Mga mii saan po kaya may available na hearing test? Near Paco Manila po sana salamat. Pupuntahan po naman ngayon sana

Mama, please go to the nearest hospital ER or pedia clinic right now if this is urgent, they can check and refer you properly! Honestly, I'd head straight to Philippine Children's Medical Center or a big hospital near Paco like Ospital ng Maynila or even a private clinic like Chong Hua or St. Luke's if mas mabilis, kasi they can do initial checks agad. Better safe than sorry, lalo na kung may hearing concern, kailangan expert ang tumingin. Praying it's nothing serious, mama!

PCV & PENTA VACCINE

Mga miii, saang health center pa po kayo available ang penta at pcv? Mag 4 months napo kase baby ko wala pa po sya ni isang dose. Not available po since then. Paco manila po kami kayo rin po ba?

Taga Cavite ako, at problema rin namin ang penta vaccine ng baby ko. Last dose na sana niya..
