Cerclage for Short Cervix

Hi mga Momsh! Sino po dito ang may short cervix and na cerclage? Kumusta po kayo? Pa-share naman ng successful stories nyo and how much ang nagastos nyo. 🙃 *** I'm 22 weeks preggy and found out yesterday na I have short cervix kaya ako nag bi-bleed. I went to ER last Saturday because of bleeding. The OB suggested taking micronized progesterone and bed rest for 2 weeks, and magpa TAS with cervical elastography. That's when I found out na short cervix ako. My OB recommends na i-refer ako sa specialist to check if need ko magpa-cerclage to avoid the risk of having a pre-term birth. Sa Monday pa ang next schedule ko, and labas ng results for my laboratory tests, kaya nakakakaba. That's why I need to know if may same experience sa mga mommies natin dito. Especially, yung mga successful stories na umabot ng full term ang baby with the help of cerclage. 🙏 #cerclage #cerclageMom #shortcervix

Mama, first thing, please follow through with your specialist appointment on Monday and listen to what they recommend . Short cervix at this stage needs proper medical care, and your OB is doing the right thing referring you. I totally understand your worry, 22 weeks is still early, and waiting for that Monday can feel long! Pero honestly, ang best thing you can do right now is rest like your doctor said, take your progesterone, and try to stay calm para sa baby. I know a few of us moms have had similar scares, and most of the time, with proper monitoring and treatment, babies do reach full term, pero the specifics really depend sa bawat case, kaya ang specialist will give you the real answers you need. Breathe, mama. You're doing everything right by getting help early. Your next few days, focus lang sa rest and eating well, ha? The answers and peace of mind come Monday, and your doctor will guide you from there.
