PLAYGROUP OR NOT

Hey all, I’m a stay at home mom, contemplating whether or not to send my 15m old son to join playgroup when he turns 2y next year. I’m not planning to go back working yet. And I’ll be getting my home keys this coming October/September. So basically budget plays a part. Should I wait and send my son to Nursery instead? Your advices and opinions are welcome.

I send my kid to school at N2. Meanwhile, I fill up her time teaching, doing montessori activities, socialise with her cousins etc. She never had issues adapting and keeping up on school except for that usual first week if separation anxiety.

Any premature moms here?

My son is 7m now but his adjusted age is 5m. I’ll be offering solids to baby in November. Do you begin with TW and slowly transition to BLW? Or straight into BLW? Do you follow 3 days wait rule? How should I start? A single food once a day? Or I can do breakfast lunch and dinner? Do I need to nurse baby and wait 30mins before offering him food?

Hi there! Yes follow 3 days rule. One type of food a day until you establish baby is not allergic. Maybe start with a single meal then work up to 2 then 3 meals? I usually wait a bit between milk and solids as baby may be quite full from milk to be able to accept solids.

Reintroduce bottle

Hello mommies My baby was bottle trained since birth (premature baby) and he has no issue taking bottles until 5 months old, when I started to introduce him to the boobies. Now he is 6 months plus and stuck with me 24/7 to nurse. And completely strike off bottles when I tried giving him. I am super exhausted and I want my family to be part of feeding my baby with a bottle too. It’s hard for me to do my work or leave the house to meet a friend or have me time and personal space when my baby needs me all the time. I have tried changing bottles and teats from TT, Pigeon, and NUK. I don’t know if I should spend on other bottle brands again. Need help and suggestions from mommies who have encountered this phase.

have you tried leaving the house when someone else is feeding the baby via bottle? my baby refused to take the bottle too but when I leave, she knows and kinda have no choice but to take the bottle. you can try :) good luck!

Refusing formula

Hi mommies I have a 4 month old baby who suddenly refuses formula. I mostly gave him breast milk through a bottle during day time, and formula twice at 2am and 5am or when my BM supply suddenly went low. Has anyone experienced this problem before? What should I do? He feeds 90ml and there are times I only managed to express around 60ml. He can latch but that only takes 5mins and he’s done. Help please 😭
