Currently down with covid and 23 weeks pregnant. Gynae gave green signal to take lonzenges, yellow flu tablet and normal panadol for fever, flu and sore throat. I am still having cough and flu. Any natural remedies that i can look into to cure cough and flu?

Im currently around 17 weeks. Can i go for feet massage at the normal massage parlour?

I wouldn’t recommend as most masseur are not trained to perform on preggos (eg to avoid any ‘point’) Any wrong point may risk triggering labour. If you really need one, try to check with those centres which does prenatal massages and see if they provide foot massages. :)

Round ligament pain

Hi im currently 17 weeks pregnant. Since yesterday i have been having a sharp stabbing pain at the lower right abdomen/side of the stomach. The pain travels back to the hip as well. Can i know whether is this how round ligament pain is? If yes, how do i overcome the pain? Thanks

yes it is. do light stretches to alleviate the pain. unfortunately it comes and goes

Prunes for constipation

Hi currently 6 weeks pregnant and going through constipation. Is it safe to eat prunes?

Gestational sac

Hi went for scan. Im around 5w5days. Doc could only see the gestational sac and nothing else. Do you think its still early? Called up a few gynae clinics and was informed that 5 weeks is still very early. Gynae Docs in hospital usually accepts patients only when they are around 8 weeks and above in order to see the yolk sac and heartbeat. Anyone experience this before?

Yes still very early. I exp it before. Can only see the sac and was told to come for next appt in 2 weeks times.

Hcg level clearblue

im currently 5w3days. checked on friday using clearblue and its says 1-2 weeks pregnant. When can i check again using clearblue in order to get 2-3 weeks pregnant? my hcg level on friday was 68. Doc has told to come back for scan/blood test on Wed. thank you!

hi i got my blood test done at a private gynae clinic, located under the block. you may want to try with first morning urine as thats when the hcg level is the highest. yes will be checking again tomorrow. Hopefully i am able to get 2-3 weeks. Thank you!
