Value for money
Simple and easy to use. Kids do figure out how to take out when they get older, but it is still useful as it deters them from playing with the socket and sticking things in. My child knows how to take it out now but he doesn't bother to. Without it he might be tempted to stick things in I reckon.
Super durable and good quality
We've bought 3 playmats and Dwinguler though one of the most expensive but it is the most durable. It is soft, comfortable and has many beautiful designs. I like that it is double sided as well. I've owned one for almost 3 years now and it still looks good as new.
Good and easy to use
Love UV sterilisers! They are super fast, convenient and saves so much time since you can just wash and put everything into it to dry and sterilise. This brand really serves me well at I am still using it now though my kid is over 2. I use it to store his bottles and sterilise toys etc. One down side is the cycle function which dries the bottles and then sterilise was broken after 1.5 years of use, so I use an external rack to dry before putting the bottles in to sterilise after.
Value for money!
These bottles may seem expensive, but they last for years, hence they really give so much value back! My boy is going 3 and I am still using all the 10 bottles I've bought since he was an infant. After he's outgrown the smaller bottles, I convert and use them for snacks and storage of food by changing the teats for lids. They are so convenient, durable and versatile.
Bloody Mess
We all know baby's nails grow really fast and I file my LO nails every morning, but often than not, it feels sharp later in the day. Lately he's got a habit of pulling his left ear a lot especially when he's sleepy or hot. He'll often get scratches either behind his ears or on his face sometimes, but he has outgrown mittens. Last night he scratched so hard on his ear, there was quite a fair bit of bleeding, and poor bubz crIed murder. Can't see that much from the photo as I've wiped it off and stopped the bleeding ofcoz before I thought of taking a pic. What I end up doing was to put socks (lol) on his hands to avoid further damage. Anyone knows why he pulls his ears? My friend suggested teething?
One Direction
My LO (little one) started rolling over around 4.5 months on his right side only and now he's still rolling one direction. I've seen him trying to go the other way to reach something, but he'll struggle and the give up because it's too hard. Is anyone's LO (little one) experiencing the same?
Cheeky Rash
LO got sensitive skin and at 6 to 8 weeks he's got massive baby acne on the entire face with a little cradle cap just around the forehead which cleared, but at 14 weeks just as grow spurt begun, rash came back again. But this time the rashes is fierce but only concentrated around his cheeks. It makes him look rosy but not exactly the good way. He's now just 5 months old and rash persist. I've tried cleaning it with cool boiled water as often as I can in the day , used California baby calendula cream, tried YL baby lotion and nothing quite worked as he drools so much now, they get rubbed off as soon as I applied it. Now we see redness and dry rough skin on his cheeks. Any advice or suggestions? This is not a huge problem that I'll take LO to a doctor during this pandemic and risk our health. So I will just see what I can do to help from home. It's just uncomfortable for him and not major I reckon.
Immunization pause
Hi All, My LO was given two vaccination shots in hospital, and we went for another 2 at around 6 weeks. Since the pandemic, hubby and I have decided to hold off all vaccination to avoid going to crowded places such as hospital and clinic. I have been practicing social isolation for my child and myself for past couple of months too. Is anyone else like us? I was told it's ok to delay the immunization, so long as we complete all before primary school. But I'm still unsure. Is there any concerns I should be aware of?
