The birthday celebrations of my 2 girls excite me every year. As a #DIYpartymomma, I always plan everything, set schedule, and ensure that each party element is present to make it a memorable one. Just like planning their birthday parties, I keep a constant communication with our pediatrician to plan, set schedule and make sure that my kids' vaccines are complete and up-to-date. Last month, #MargaeryCassandra and #MikasaClarice had their annual flu shots. I learned from one of the webinars of @theasianparent_ph that we should not take flu so lightly. Flu can cause complications and can lead to death. The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year. So let's flu-proof our homes. I also invite you to join the Team Bakunanay Facebook Group (facebook.com/groups/bakunanay) to share and learn with other moms and get the right information and support about vaccination. We can also ask our doctor or health provider for more information. #TeamBakuNanay #ProudtobeABakuNanay #AllAboutBakuna #HealthierPhilippines #VaccinesWorkForAll

Cheers to vaccines! Because of the pandemic, I'm sure we were worried or scared of bringing our kids to the hospitals or health centers. But It is more important to have our kids vaccinated in the midst of the pandemic to prevent them from getting other harmful diseases. Let's protect our kids and everyone around them against life-threatening diseases. BCG, Hepa B, MMR and DPT are just some of the mentioned vaccines that can benefit our kids later in life. These vaccines will PREVENT them from acquiring serious infections that may damage their health. Prevention is better than cure. Protection through vaccines is the best way to prevent illnesses that will lead our kids to a healthy and happy life. It is also important to be guided and to have someone to talk to about vaccines so let's coordinate with our baranggay health centers, pediatrician or join the Team Bakunanay Facebook Group. Together with other Bakunanay, feel free to ask questions and learn more about vaccines for the safety of your kids. See you there! Đọc thêmHi Mommies and daddies, anong latest vaccine na natanggap ng mga anak nyo? #bakuna
Mikasa had her flu vaccine this June. Next month, 6-in-1 vaccine naman. Kayo, kumusta ang immunization schedule ng mga anak nyo ngayong pandemic? Nasusunod ba or may mga namimiss? I am so thankful for our pediatrician, Dr. Emily Barza because she goes to our house every month to keep my kids' vaccines up to date. Syempre lagi kong hinahanda ang baby book para guided kami sa vaccine schedule. Join the Team Bakunanay Facebook Group to share and learn with other moms and get the right information and support about vaccination. We can also ask our doctor or health provider for more information. #TeamBakuNanay #ProudtobeABakuNanay #AllAboutBakuna #HealthierPhilippines #VaccinesWorkForAll

Time to celebrate, Bakunanays! The World Health Organization and Department of Health announced on June 3 that the polio outbreak in the country is over. In September 2019, there was a resurgence of Polio in the country after 2 decades of declaring the Philippines as polio-free. Due to comprehensive outbreak response actions including intensified immunization and surveillance activities in affected areas of the country, the virus has not been detected in a child or in the environment in the past 16 months. What a great news! That is why Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV) and Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) are so important to be given to our kids to fully protect them for Polio. Mommies, let's continue getting our kids vaccinated and let others know that vaccines not only protect our kids and our family, but also our community. Join the Team Bakunanay Facebook Group to share and learn with other moms and get the right information and support about vaccination. We can also ask our doctor or health provider for more information. #TeamBakuNanay #ProudtobeABakuNanay #AllAboutBakuna #HealthierPhilippines #VaccinesWorkForAll
