Any tips or advise for c section

Due to a couple of reasons, my doctor has decided on doing a c section at 38 weeks. This is my first baby and I'm completely terrified of what is about to happen. I chose the option of receiving a spinal so I could be awake for the birth. Does anyone have tips on how I can recover more quickly after birth?

Keep the wound dry and clean. I didn’t bathe for a week - which was when my gynae said I could remove the dressing. Take things easy and rest more. Don’t squat, bend or carry heavy stuff. Wear compression socks to control water retention.

How many of you have bled during pregnancy?

So I started bleeding a few weeks ago, we rushed to the hospital and the doctor told me it's a placental bleed and that it's normal (I'm 21 weeks now). My doctor also said some women bleed during pregnancy and it's common. How many of you have experienced this and is the baby okay? Also when did the bleeding stop?

I do have bleeding since day 1 till now I'm 10weeks. For my case I have to rest more. For your case, don't carry heavy stuff n rest well.
