Aw, that must be worrying talaga, lalo na first time mom ka pa lang! One of my mum friends had the same thing with her baby, parang blocked tear duct daw, and it took a few months before it cleared on its own, pero iba-iba talaga ng cases. Since your pedia already referred you to an ophthalmologist, I think it's really best to see them na para ma-check properly kung ano ang cause, kasi there could be a few different reasons and the optha will know best what to do, hindi mo dapat mag-alala na "mas maraming tests" yan, it's actually the right next step. Fingers crossed for you mama, these things usually resolve naman but good thing you're getting proper checks!
