Ay alam ko yan, napaka-stressful ng situation na yan especially pag walang income na! A few of us tried the voluntary contribution route din kaya alam ko how confusing the process is, honestly, ang best approach is to go directly sa SSS office or call their hotline para malaman exactly kung paano ma-process ang mat1 at sickness notification with your changed status, kasi bawat case ay slightly different depending kung kelan ka nag-shift from employed to voluntary. Do bring lahat ng documents, resignation, change of status form, employment certificate, para mabilis ma-process, and if possible go in person kasi mas mabilis sila mag-assist kapag nandoon ka na!
