Ay alam ko yan, napaka-stressful ng situation na yan especially pag walang income na! A few of us tried the voluntary contribution route din kaya alam ko how confusing the process is, honestly, ang best approach is to go directly sa SSS office or call their hotline para malaman exactly kung paano ma-process ang mat1 at sickness notification with your changed status, kasi bawat case ay slightly different depending kung kelan ka nag-shift from employed to voluntary. From what I heard from other moms, approval usually takes around 7-10 business days pero minsan mas matagal, talaga kailangan mo makipag-follow up sa kanila at ensure lahat ng requirements ay complete na. Do bring lahat ng documents, resignation, change of status form, employment certificate, para mabilis ma-process, and if possible go in person kasi mas mabilis sila mag-assist kapag nandoon ka na!
