7days NO POOP

EBF 6months Kakastart lang ng solid food every morning, this week he had mostly sweet potato at 1 day potato. No snacks. No water. Katext ko pedia niya and said magwater na sya. Praying na mkpagpoop n rin today.

Amebiasis

My 3months old baby boy ebf was diagnosed with amebiasis last Sunday when we rushed him to CHMC-ER due to fresh blood stains in his stool. The doctor said maybe he got it from me, & asked what did I previously ate. In my mind 'He got from my milk?' and I was trembled. I can't believe it. I was very stressed thinking of it. Blaming myself that time. Then I remembered, I just got back to office and I hand-expressed my milk in our CR. Maybe, maybe the milk was contaminated there. But upon research my baby could get it in many ways, from human transmission, people who carry these bacteria holds his hands(that he puts in his mouth), feeding bottles that weren't washed well, etc. Immediate my husband decided that I should resign from work asap to take care of our child. Lessons learned: Family First Direct latch is very important Wash & sanitize well - bottle feeding, our hands etc. Don't compromise. Invest. P.S. Aside from the blood stains. My baby's very active, frequently latching & haven't experienced fever. Trials/problems are normal in life, the thing is when we trust God, we'll be able to see good despite of going through it. He provides, He gives hope and peace. Happy New Year! Be blessed & prosperous ahead

Finally after a month ng LO ko naging exclusive na BF. Kaso madalas syang naglulungad after dumede, then magdedemand pa rin ulit. Iiyak pag hindi pinadede. Sino po same experience? TIA

Scared Of C-Section / CS?

Sharing my experience. I'm one of those mommies to be na ayaw ma-cs. I've been doing things para 'daw' maging normal ang delivery ko. And since my sister and mother gave birth to normal del, I really believed and hoped I will be also. Mabilis lng din sila manganak. My due date was supposed to be Sept. 24, 2019 but my water broke Sept. 16 5pm. So we rushed to the hospital (CHMC) diretso sa labor room as per my OB's advise around 6pm. That time wala akong contractions, cute lang daw sabi nila, and I was just 1cm dilated. By 10pm they decided to induce me and that gave me painful contractions hoping that cervix will be dilated fully. Unfortunately, it didn't. After 7hrs around 12mn, my OB explained my situation. It remained 1cm, at hindi daw kakasya si baby, delikado n rin na matagal na walang water, may possibility na infect si baby sa loob. So we need to have emergency C-Section. My OB called my husband, explained everything. We had time to pray and decide. Entrusted everything sa Lord, kasama n rin sympre yung gastos. We believe everything happens for a reason. And it all went well. Baby has no complications, I recovered fast. And now, enjoying my new journey as a forever mom to my baby Joth Emmanuel. God bless to all strong women! PS. I had a great husband and to all my support group.
