During my first delivery, it took about 2days before breastmilk start coming, baby have to start on formula. Is this normal? Does it happen to you? Isit going to happen again this time around, or isit only in first pregnancy? And how will i avoid this problem this time around. (this is my second pregnancy) thank you all

Yes, it’s quite common. Breast milk only flows after 2/5 days. Just gotta keep ‘offering tits to baby to latch on’... once baby latch on, breast milk will flow regularly

i want to try epidural.

But am concern about its long and short term site effect. Please help enlighten me. Thank you

Pd told me there’s no side effects. Seriously to me, is life saver. Initially I also wondered.. Side effects it’s only your confinement period did not do properly. Such as always bend down carry baby n not resting well or stand n sit too Long. Movement too much... You need to on bed rest most of the time. Trust me... I have done that. And no backaches after that. Suggest, during the 1 month after birth.. ask family members or anyone that you trust to help you as much as possible besides feedings (breast feeding only) and meals/toilets. And you bed rest. When baby is sleeping, you nap. Feeding time can be in bed too. Household chores or washing n meals request for help.. :) However do seek advise from Pd to check on your conditions
