First time mommy with doubts

Hi mommies.. I'm hoping to get answers with mommies of the same experience as I am.. Mommies, I'm a first time mommy with short stature (145cm) and newly diagnosed GDM (pre : 4.0mmol, post : 8.1mmol) I did some scan at 31weeks and apparently my baby is around 2.2kg... Is there mommies with the same experience? Did you go for C-section or normal delivery?

Aww mama, I can feel the worry in your message! Honestly, GDM + petite frame is a valid concern, tapi it really depends on how your blood sugar control goes from now until delivery and how baby develops, some of my mum friends with GDM managed normal delivery successfully, while others ended up with C-section, and both are totally okay outcomes. The good news is 2.2kg at 31 weeks is not huge, so you've got time to manage this with diet and monitoring (I know it's stressful!). Best thing is to have a proper chat with your gynae about your specific situation, they can assess your pelvis size relative to expected baby weight nearer to term, and give you the real picture instead of us guessing online. You're doing great by being proactive about this, and I'm sure whatever birth route happens, baby will be here safely soon!

Waxing is it safe?

Is it safe to wax now especially on the private parts?

Waxing during pregnancy is generally okay, tapi kena careful especially down there because the skin is more sensitive and the area has more blood flow sekarang, a few of my mum friends did it and were fine, but some ada redness or irritation yang lasted longer than normal. Best lah to check with your doctor or gynae first, especially if this is your first time waxing or if you're worried about any complications, sebab they know your specific situation better!
