Hi. First time mom here. Tadi baru balik 2nd growth scan. Kalau ikut LMP supposedly dah 8w. Tapi tadi sono scan, baru 5w2d and kantung kosong. Need to repeat scan after 2 weeks. Sono kata if kantung still kosong after 2w, means kena refer hospital to keluarkan kantung. Ya Allah berderau darah dengar tadi. Lemahnya rasa. Siapa pernah alami perkara macam ni? #firsttimepreggy #Needadvice

Siapa kat sini alami high risk pregnancy disebabkan oleh diabetes dan darah tinggi yg sedia ada before start pregnant lagi? Boleh share pengalaman tak? #askmommies #firsttimepreggy

I myself had some health concerns during my pregnancy, so I know how important it is to stay close with your doctor and follow their guidance carefully. Please do make sure to keep all your appointments with your O&G and perhaps also your physician or specialist who manages your diabetes and blood pressure, because they will be your best support through this. Existing Diabetic and High Blood Pressure person

Hi. First mom here. Boleh tak nak tahu mommy yang tgh preggy yg memang sedia ada diabetes dan high blood pressure, how to coop with it? Btw saya baru 6 weeks.

Tahniah on your pregnancy, and it's really thoughtful of you to start managing early at just 6 weeks! From what I've heard among mums who've been through the same, the two biggest things are really watching your diet, cutting down on salt, processed food, and caffeine, and keeping your blood sugar steady with smaller, balanced meals throughout the day. Staying gently active helps too, even just a daily walk of 20, 30 minutes can make a quiet difference for both blood pressure and sugar levels. My neighbour went through the same combination during her pregnancy and her specialist set her quite a strict A1C target to work towards, which gave her something clear to focus on each trimester. Do share all this with your own doctor or maternal-fetal medicine specialist though, sayang, because managing both conditions together during pregnancy really does need personalised guidance from someone who knows your full history.
