Week 39 day 4, still not dilated. Any quick tips on inducing labor?

During my last visit doc said my cervix is not dilated and still very high.Appreciate any effective tips on inducing labor fast!

They say exercising (walking, yoga, stretches), sex, dates, raspberry tea help. Not sure if it’s true or not though. But worth a try - no harm trying.

Inactive baby, is it normal?

I am 37 week 4day pregnant , do babies get less active around this period? I can barely feel his movement throughout the days , took out the Doppler and could detect heartbeat. Is it something I should be worried about ?

Never use a doppler without professional. Sometimes you may be detecting your own heartbeat instead of baby's. Baby don't get less active as you approach EDD. Please go to the hospital and get them to monitor fetal movement and heart beat. Better be safe than sorry mummy ❤️❤️

Hello! Would like to ask if anyone here has experience with Water Birthing? Am wondering if it’s worth the $$ and which water birthing gynae to go with.

The main appeal is that being in warm water can help manage contractions more naturally and many mums find it calming, but there are also limitations like it not being suitable for high-risk pregnancies or certain complications. I would suggest calling a few private hospitals or gynae clinics to compare their packages, and also have a detailed chat with your gynae about whether you are a good candidate for it before committing. That way you are making the decision based on your own health profile, not just the price tag lah.
