During my pregnancy, I had a nasty trip on the pavement and twisted my ankle terribly. Because our ligaments get so loose from the hormones, the injury was actually much worse than a normal sprain. Like you, I was terrified for the baby and completely lost on what medicine I could safely take. Resting at home helps, but getting a proper clinical check-up gave me so much peace of mind. I went to see my doctor, Dr Alan Cheung, who was absolutely brilliant at managing the injury safely without risking the pregnancy. It is definitely worth having a professional look at it just to be safe!

for me, it's important to remember it doesn't always succeed on the first try, and sometimes you have to try again. i know many people who had positive outcomes, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with staying hopeful. but at the same time, its good to prepare yourself for the possibility that it may take more than one cycle. it can really take a mental and emotional toll, so having a good support system makes a big difference.. :) ihope ive answered your question
