Hehe, congrats on your pregnancy! Honestly, heart rate alone isn't reliable, a few of us tried guessing based on bpm and lahat ng guesses namin ay mali haha, so I wouldn't bet on it. The nub theory (looking at the angle of the genital tubercle) is more fun to try if you want to guess, but really the safest bet is waiting for the anatomy scan or asking your OB kung makikita na niya clearly, kasi sa 18 weeks still kinda early for some babies to cooperate! As for the nose, that part is tricky to point out sa ultrasound kasi ang baby's face is usually at an angle na mahirap makita clearly, your sonographer would be the best person to help you identify features. Heart palpitation at 12 weeks

I am 12 weeks 6days pregnant. My body feels sooo tired and my heart palpitates especially at night. Is this normal?

Mama, please reach out to your OB right away, okay? Heart palpitations + extreme tiredness deserve a proper check-up to make sure everything's okay with you and baby. A few of us mums noticed weird heart stuff during pregnancy, sometimes it's just the hormones and extra blood volume working overtime, but your doctor needs to rule out anything else. Don't wait on this one, sis. Better safe than sorry, especially at this stage. Tawagan mo na ang clinic mo ngayon, they'll be able to give you peace of mind. Take care!
