Will pregnancy lead to high cholesterol?

Hi Mummies, Would like to know whether will pregnancy lead to high cholesterol? I just done my cholesterol test check at home and found is high reading. First test is 6.4mmol/ml and second test is 8.67mmol/ml. I had done yearly check up and did not discover high cholesterol for the pass few years! Is it normal for pregnant mummies? Currently i m 37 weeks!
