May ganyan na rin sa akin simula 37 weeks pregnancy. Pero closed pa cervix ko. 😅 Now at 38 weeks though.

But honestly, this is something you really need to ask your OB directly, she can explain what grade 2 placenta means for you specifically and whether everything is on track. Don't worry yourself silly before you talk to her, okay? A few of us mums go through similar concerns at 38 weeks, and most of the time the doctor just reassures us or adjusts the plan if needed. Schedule that check-up if you haven't already, and bring your ultrasound images para mas malinaw sya makapag-explain. You've got this, mama!

Hi mama! Grade 2 placenta at 37+ weeks is actually normal, that's how the placenta naturally matures as you progress in pregnancy, so don't worry. But since you're asking about it, best to confirm with your OB na okay pa ang baby's movement and amniotic fluid levels, kasi yan ang more important markers ngayon na malapit na naman ang due date mo. A few of my preggie friends had the same thing at that stage and lahat ng babies nila came out healthy naman, pero peace of mind talaga is important especially ngayon na ganitong stage ka na!
