When should I start feeding lo solid?

Hello mommas, Ftm here. My baby is 5m+ and her feeding time gap can be as early as an hour. Her usual intake is 240ml but only about 10% of the time she won't drink it all up. Is she ready to start solid?

You can Google to see when is baby ready for solid. The baby should show interest in food & can sit up relatively well for some time before u start solid.

Hello mummies, Mind sharing with me on how long your body takes to recover from labour? I've been having this awful cramps/sharp pain especially from my lower back down to my inner thighs since I was heavily pregnant till now. It hurts so bad and at times it makes me cry when I move. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Please help a sister out. Thank you 🥺

Hi, it seems that my feets are getting more sore even after labour. Is this normal? It's affecting my walking too btw... 😰

Hello everyone, Few days ago I was admitted due to some discomfort in my tummy along with slight contractions. They did the scan while I was there and my little nugget now seemed to move her way back up instead of head down. I'm on my 36 weeks now and my appointment with the gynae will be in a couple of days time. Before being discharged, I was told that the gynae will help to turn little nugget back down for my upcoming appointment. I hope all is well before she decides to come out. Please keep me in your prayers 🥺

Hello mamas, How many weeks were you when your water broke? I'm on my way to 34 weeks and I'm already starting to feel panic! This is my first pregnancy. Just as much as I loved to see my little nugget and can't wait to hold her, the thought of labour pain terrifies me! Please tell me that this is a normal feeling to have? Husbands are allowed to be in the delivery room with us too, right?

What is a maternity pad?

Hello mummies, Mind sharing with me what's the purpose of the maternity pad? When should I start using it? Is it for post natal or when the due date is drawing near? What's the different between the normal sanitary pad and the maternity ones? Not possible to use panty liner instead? My EDD is on 14th Oct and this is my first pregnancy. Please help a sister out. Thank you so much 😇💕

Hi there .. you will only start to be wearing a maternity pad after u gave birth . U will be like having full flow mensus(actually even more blood than usual full flow mensus) for the couple of few days upon delivering . Definitely a pantyliner wouldn't be enough . The difference of the normal sanitary pad and the maternity ones are the length and thickness . U will be given epikool pad too .

Troubled Sleeping :(

Hello mummies, I'm on my 26 weeks and it seems like I have been having difficulties to sleep. It's impossible to nap in the afternoon too! I'm exhausted, but it's just so hard to fall asleep! Day after day it just gets worst ☹️ Is this because my tummy is growing and that it's hard to find a comfortable position to settle in? Cause most of the time I see myself struggling in doing so. Plus, the aching spine and calf makes it even harder too 😭

Hi mummy! I used to have trouble sleeping too when i was in my 2nd and 3rd trimester.😅 for me it was worst in the 3rd trimester as i was feeling uncomfortable everywhere. Feet were hurting , back was aching , tossed and turn but couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep. Adding on i had terrible heartburns and would stay up till late night cause i couldn't sleep. Tried sleeping while resting my back to the bedrest, it helped but obviously it wasn't a comfortable position to sleep in while pregnant. What helped me was the maternity pillow that my hubby bought and also drinking a cup of warm milk before sleep. I slept on my side facing left(since i had heartburn). Perhaps you could get a maternity pillow those u shape kind so you can have both back and tummy support.
