Midwife’s Brew

Anyone tried Midwife’s Brew before? Any side effects? And does doctor feel okay doing it? From 0 dilation or no contractions, it helps to dilate and helps to start contraction?

don't force or jumpstart contraction . worry no strength to push need to emergency c sect . most would encourage spontaneous labour . let the contraction or dilation comes on its own when it's time . natural ways . sex helps. squat

Belly hard but no cramps

My wife is in her 38 week, dilation 1cm. However her belly gets hard at times but no feeling of cramp. Is that considered real contraction? Cause Braxton Hicks wont cause dilation right?

That's braxton hicks. Contractions is painful and will not go away no matter what she do ie change position etc. Tell her to walk more, do squats. Helps to dilate.
