My family's favourite is weekend cycling at East Coast Park, the kids love it because we stop for ice cream halfway and it doesn't feel like exercise to them. ESG for weight loss here anyone

Has anyone here considered ESG for weight loss? I’ve been reading about it and am curious how it compares with other weight loss procedures, especially in terms of how much weight people actually lost.

From what I've heard around, ESG seems to give pretty solid results for most people, folks generally lose somewhere between 15 to 25% of their body weight, which is a good range compared to some other options out there. What really strikes me is that recovery is meant to be quite fast (most mums are back to normal after the first couple of days), and several people I know have mentioned losing a meaningful amount within the first few months, which helps keep motivation up. The thing is, everyone's results do depend quite a bit on sticking to the lifestyle side, diet, portion control, that sort of thing, so it's not a magic fix on its own, but when people are committed to it, the results seem to stick. Definitely worth having a proper chat with your doctor or a weight loss specialist here in Singapore to see if it's the right fit for your situation though!

Hello everyone, does gallstones or kidney stones get better on their own without seeing a doctor? I’m honestly a bit scared to get checked 😭 but I’m starting to think I might have one because I’ve been having back pain and sometimes it hurts when I pee.

This one better not wait, please go see a doctor or A&E now. Back pain plus pain when you pee sounds like it needs proper checking, and stones don't usually clear on their own without help. I know it's scary, but the doctors see this all the time and will put your mind at ease, trust me. Take care of yourself.

How long were you off work after bunion surgery?

I'm trying to plan ahead because I work full-time. If you've had bunion surgery, how much time did you take off before returning to work? Does it depend on the type of job you have?

For me, it was around 5 weeks before I returned to work, though if your job involves a lot of standing or walking, you might need a bit more time. I was dealing with pain, swelling, and my toe was gradually getting more crooked. Dr Seng Chusheng diagnosed me with a bunion and performed the surgery. Recovery took patience, but I'm really glad I sought help from an orthopaedic specialist in mount elizabeth novena.😊🤍
