My LO is gg to enter childcare soon...as a first time parent and a single parent, I am filled with anxiety at the thought of it. I am so worrisome about his safety, well being, how is he going to cope with it etc etc...i wish to accompany him during the first 3 days but unfortunately I am very busy during that period to take leave, unless I delay his entrance.. however the sch suggested me to go ahead as they don't encourage parents to stick around anyway. As long as there is someone to stand by will be ok (My mum) in this case..even So, I can't help but to feel guilty if I don't experience the first time with him...i m in such dilemma..?

i agree w the teachers. Just leave it to someone else. They will adapt faster then you actually know! (:

Nebulizer. But you may need prescription from doctor, who may prescribe a saline solution.

Hi , recently I bought a bottle of organic Chia seeds to want to cook for my 19 months old .. can share cooking ideas on how I can use the Chia seeds for cooking ? How much to use each time I cook?

i would use half a teaspoon each time. Add into their cereal or oatmeals

My husband does not like helping to take care of our toddler (just look after or play with him) for long. About an hour plus to two hours of playing or just watching him he will get frustrated. He complained that maid takes way too long to bathe and eat her meals (about 30 mins each) cause she does not want to take care of our toddler and that she only carries our toddler to sleep so that she can carry him and watch tv. And is asking that I tell my Mom and maid to sleep train him (let him cry it out as currently he cannot take naps unless being carried, we tried letting him nap without carrying and he can cry until he chokes and coughs, even after he had fallen asleep by carrying, we put him on bed, he will wake up almost immediately) and train him to play by himself in the play yard without needing someone to be around (... say that we can monitor via cam. Seriously what is he saying? Our toddler is just slightly over one year old! What if he falls? Husband says how hard can he falls. He is in the play yard with a mat at the bottom...). I know we should really try to sleep train him but it's so hard to heard him cries for more than 30 mins and still unable to sleep. Just ranting cos he does not lives with us and of cos can make such remarks.

Men-husband that seem to be in a world of their own. Who doesn't live with you?

When should my toddler transition from 2 naps to 1?

Naps

Depends on your toddler and what the routine is. I'll let my child sleepif it's much needed. Now that he is 3 heonly has 1 nap a day.

I am stressed out. Baby just turn 1 and these 2 weeks I have difficulties putting her to bed. She's calm but she can't fall asleep. I work very early in the morning and last night I carried and rocked her for more than 4 hours. I'm exhausted and screamed and yelled at her but she just looked at me helplessly.... I feel very guilty. I cried and rocked her to sleep.. she finally slept... I'm a bad mum. I'm not sure what to do anymore.exhausted mum with useless husband.
