husband miss his ex

idk what to feel when my husband shared me about his ex and his sex experience. He never say he miss his ex but the way he telling story about them make me numb with a hit of pain. While he talking i try to show that i understand him and showing my interest about it. Just want to let go my feeling here as i am not local and cant tell to my relatives nor friend, idk where or how to let go my heavy feeling. We have 2 kids and when he shared his love story about his ex, my mind running/thinking that am i just substitute or a person that he can afford. To tell u im not materialise, im simple and no branded nor make up. My only spending is for my kid but not myself (plain and simple). He told me his ex like to do girly thing pedi buy bamded and travel thats why they broke up bcos he cant afford. i really dont know but now the feeling is my husband sooner or later he will leave me, dumb me. So i need to prepare myself physically emotionally and financially.

Not sure what to advise on this but what made him share his story or rather sex experience with his ex with you? Anyways not siding your husband, guys are rather straight forward and dumb, they might mean nothing but they just blindly share without filtering. And the best is don’t bring up the past of any parties to avoid situations like this.. What I would do is to show him that I can financially support my own “pamper me sessions and branded (if I want to)” so that in the event he ever wants to compare, there is nothing to nitpick about you. Whatever it is, it is good to have some spare cash with yourself and your kids so you don’t have to worry in case anything happens one day.

Doesnt want to go school

Dear parents, my daughter 2years+ is in childcare she has been there for a year now. And im a bit worried early this year most of the time she has been crying not wanting to go to school, she dislike one of the teacher there. Then a month later she was ok but then she cry again not wanting to go to school. She has been telling me she doesnt want to go to school. Nearly a year and she is not happy at all my 1st daughter is doing ok altho same classroom but different level. I have residents there telling me how playgroup teachers would punish children who cry or doesnt want to listen and make them stand in one corner and some residents even tell me that during outdoor the teachers there will make children stand in one corner and not letting them play. My concern is if i go to the teacher and afraid that they will mistrear my kid. Kids are supposed to feel happy to go to school, but my daughters really really hates it she will cry her lungs out. I have already reached out to the principle and the teachers multiple times. And by doing it again i am so afraid that they might thing im a annoying mother. What should i do? 😭

Honestly, a full year of consistent crying and not wanting to go is a long time, and the feedback from residents about how some teachers handle upset children is something I would not take lightly. I think it is worth weighing whether staying in this centre is the right fit for her, because some children do genuinely click better with a different environment or teaching style. You have already raised your concerns with the principal multiple times, so if things have not improved, switching centres might be worth looking into rather than waiting longer. You are her mother and you know her best, so advocating for her is never being "annoying" - it is exactly what she needs you to do.

My 3 year 4 months old girl not talking yet. Only babbles ‘Mama’ only. Still worry.. am going to therapy for 4 session next mth, hopefully it works. Any advise too?

I haven't seen dedicated kids' AirTag watch straps sold in physical stores here specifically, but it might be worth checking Challenger or Courts as they carry Apple accessories and sometimes have third-party options too. If those don't pan out, Lazada and Shopee both have sellers with same-day or next-day delivery which might still work if your need is within a day or two

Which would you choose: Mindchamps, Pats Schoolhouse or Superland?

Hello parents, My wife and I are confused between three pre-schools in terms of educational approach. We have done a lot of research but could use help with our decision, especially if you know about these schools. We’re likely to stay in Singapore long term and our son would either go to local or international school after pre-school. We are debating between Mindchamps Concorde (most academic), Superland UE Square, and Pats School House Liang Court (least academic). Superland is a good hybrid option but their pedagogy seems to be quite loosely defined. For us, what’s important is: academic rigor to prepare for local school, adequate time to play, social interaction with a diverse set of students, critical thinking, and creativity. Given this, which would you choose? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Toddler always sick

Hi mummies , isit normal for a toddler age 3years plus always sick ? My daughter is 3 years old and since she started school she will always sick every months. And in October, she was sick, didn't get to go school for 3weeks and just started sent her back to school last weeks but now she sick back, having fever cough flu phlegm 😭
