Does any parents have any reviews about MYworld at Compassvale Ancilla? Have been unable to find any reviews about it and would appreciate any comments, thank you

They are sparks certified and healthy certified. It’s from ymca, so it’s subsidised. Fees before working mum subsidy is $700. After including working mum it’s about $300. There are additional income subsidies so you can end up paying about $150 in total. A lot of complains about the pre enrolment admin process though, and the less amount of Singapore Teachers. Have heard parents in woodland school is very happy.

Does anyone else hate being a parent?

Does anyone else find parenting overwhelming? My kid has just been diagnosed with ADHD and boy does parenting him drain the daylight out of me. He's constantly shouting instead of speaking at a normal level, he's always trying to climb me or digging his knees and elbows into me. He smacks his head into me, yanks on my clothes; recently he's started making these loud shrieking noises, even though he is perfectly capable of communicating properly. He's always moving and making noise, interrupting my conversations with my husband and honestly just overwhelming me on a daily basis. At best I dislike being around him. At worst I hate having him near me. Even when he leaves me alone I can never rest or relax because I know he's going to come at me again, it's just a question of when. He goes to school, he’s happy there. Also behaves similarly in school. I dread the hours of him coming home as it means the nightmare starts again and I have NO energy for him. He's 4 years old. This should not be this difficult. And that's not even mentioning the horrible, crippling feelings of guilt and shame I feel as a mother. Because I know none of this is his fault and I should be handling it better, and hopefully will do once I get on medication. I just needed to vent. I don't have any friends I can say all this to and I'm tired of watching other parents having a good time with their normal children and feeling jealous and ashamed that my family isn't like that.

Squinting in 2.5 year old son's eyes

I realised that from two nights ago, my son's eyes keep squinting. Could there be an issue? should I bring him to see a children's doctor for a check up?

Yes you should consult Opthamalogist, also check if there are any other symptoms water eyes, redeness, itching etc

Potty train refusal/phobia

My four year old is not potty trained reason being she is having phobia of the potty and toilet seat. We have changed various types of potty but she still refused to release her pee. She would hold her pee till we wear a diaper for her. She is also afraid of peeing on the floor. Any advice?

Why don’t you get her a baby toilet seat which you could easily use on the commode? And make trip to the loo fun.

Hi, what would you do if your K1 kid refuse to go to school? Everyday, she'll mention that she doesn't want go to school and doesn't like Teacher N. To me, the teacher is quite impatient and negative. And apprently, some of her other classmates' parents also said the kids don't like her. I've spoken to the teacher but things doesn't seem to change. Will speaking to the principal help before we consider changing school? But that would effect the teacher's treatment towards my kids right?
