Snacks preparation

Hi mummies, Mind sharing what snacks do you prepare for your toddler every day?

Mostly Fruits: Apples, berries, Pears. Also, Gerber snacks

Number of poo per day

Hi Is it normal that toddler immediately shit after every meal? Recently my 2 year toddler has been like that. The weight doesn’t seem to go up As he keep shitting after every meal. 3 times per day solid poo Thanks Glynnis

Milk limitation per day

Hi mummies, do you limit your toddler milk since he or she is on solid now? Otherwise too much milk they cannot eat much.

Yes, it is recommended to gradually reduce the amount of milk your toddler drinks as they start to eat more solid foods. As your toddler's diet becomes more varied, their need for milk will decrease.

Teachers at preschool

Hi Mummies, what will u guys do if this situation happened to your toddler? So to begin with, My daughter is in Nursery 2 in pcf sparkletots . Today she did tell me that her classmates push her till she fell down and she cried, her teacher console her and to my surprised my daughter told me that her teacher said to her DONT TELL MUMMY (FRIEND NAME) PUSH U OK. So what is her teacher motive? Why must she teach my daughter to tell lies and not be honest? Its already been like 2 3 times her classmates will push her , from different person but we just been keep quiet because we do understand its a kids and sometimes they are quite playful wanna play around with friends. Just that today, i cant expect her teacher teach her to lie and not be honest.

Best to talk to principal and keep pressing them for an explanation, or if there is CCTV at the centre can request to have a look at it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to say your kid is lying. Just sharing my experience, sometimes kids are little cheekies. I have a friend’s kid (5) who fell flat on the floor (tripped on her own) with all of us there but she got up and told her mum “my friend (name) pushed me so I fell” 😅. Her mum knows that friend too, but her friend wasn’t there 😂.

MOE approved Chinese learning game app

I have been working with MOE to launch a Chinese learning game app called Prep Junior (@prepjunior) for 4-6 years old. The app is slated for launch in late June. We are targeting the private and public preschools but I also understand some young learners are homeschooling. A friend of mine tried Raffles Kidz and said the environment was clean and structured, teachers were quite attentive and consistent with communication to parents. Honestly for preschool at that age, visit both centres yourself and trust your gut on which one feels warmer when you walk in lah.

Preschool refusal

Recently after my 2 year old daughter fell sick and had 1 week mc, it has been very difficult for me to get her back into routine. It has always been a challenge to persuade her to go to school but even more so now. She refuses to go to school and throws a tantrum and refuses to wear her uniform. She tells me please don’t leave her and to go to school with her. She will cry at drop off but at the end of the day the teachers tell me that she was played well and enjoyed herself. Any tips to make my mornings better?

Celebrate Birthday At preschool

Hi mummies, my daughter 4th bday is coming soon. She is in nursery 2 at pcf . We will give her classmates a goodie bag but im still considering should i buy a cake to celebrate at her school? What do you think mummies? Need suggestions. #firsttimemom

You can buy cupcakes 🧁 instead of cakes. Thats what i did .. easier also

Reviews on MOE kindergarten school

Hi mummies, any reviews on MOE kindergarten school for k1 and k2? Isit much more better then normal preschool/childcare? Because i saw like alot of other kids school at MOE kindergarten for k1 but before this they was schooling at other preschool like My first school, chilten house and etc.

most of the reasons for switching to MOE Kindergarten is to get priority entering primary school nearby or next to it
