1st test is a faint positive from clearblue, next day I had a negative one.. period not here yet.. should I use a digital one or should I see my gynae or should I just wait for my period..

If you wish to get it now, you may get the kit with pregnant/not pregnant kit or do urine test at polyclinic/private doctor

Anyone engaged nannysos?

Any mamas here engaged nannysos and have any reviews to share? Am considering them over PEM and their reviews seems pretty ok though they are not as popular. Thanks!

Oh I've heard quite good things about NannySOS actually! They have a really strong rating, close to a 4.9 from close to a thousand reviews, which is pretty impressive for a confinement nanny agency. A mum I know had nanny Lilian and said she was genuinely experienced, patient, and even thoughtful enough to bring her own useful items for the confinement, really went above and beyond. From what I've generally heard, the nannies communicate well with new mums and are good at tuning in to both mum's and baby's needs, which honestly makes such a big difference when you're exhausted and anxious in those early weeks. Sounds like a solid choice, hope you find a great fit!

Rib pain upper abdomen area

I am in my 7th week of pregnancy and feels like pain in upper abdomen area.. guess rib pain..is it normal or i need to worry.. its causing me problem during sleep😟

Hi Bloom, You seem to be experiencing pain in several areas for the past couple of weeks. I think you should consult a doctor if it is disrupting your sleep. Doctor should be able to figure it out ya? Don’t worry yourself..

Sgh bill and scan

Hi is it true that you do not have to pay for surgeons, doctors fees if you deliver in sgh? Also will there be another scan after week 29? Thanks

I delivered at SGH and from what I remember, the subsidised package does cover a good portion of the doctors and surgeons fees, but there may still be some out of pocket costs depending on your ward type and whether you have Medishield Life or an integrated shield plan to help offset. It is really worth calling SGH directly or checking with your gynae's clinic to get a clearer breakdown for your specific situation. For scans, yes, there is usually at least one more scan after week 29, like a growth scan closer to your third trimester, but your gynae will advise based on how your pregnancy is progressing lah. Best to just confirm with your care team at the next appointment so you know exactly what to expect.

embarassing preganncy

My pregnancy is so embarrassing. At first, I was very happy with this pregnancy. But slowly, I started producing saliva in abnormal amounts 😭 No matter what, I always feel like spitting. I'm embarrassed to keep spitting. Until now, I'm ashamed to leave the house. I'm ashamed to meet people, I'm afraid of being laughed at. Why is my pregnancy like this... I want to go out without feeling embarrassed. I know my pregnancy is a blessing, my pregnancy is healthy, but I can't stand the embarrassment of having to spit all the time, I can't stand it. Has anyone ever experienced this kind of condition during pregnancy?
