Any review for dr lawrence ang from tmc? share for care

dr lawrence ang made me comfortable in the first meeting itself. He has a very good team which makes the process much easier for the patient to take. And I highly recommend this doctor as well as the hospital for better treatment.

Hi mummies, is cord stem cells necessary? Or just cord blood will be good enough? If I would to buy both, the cost is quite substantial.

I did not do either. On a monthly basis too costly for me. Guess it's to each its own. Only found out about this through my second pregnancy.

Hi mummies, recently heard that spectra 9 plus breast pump is suitable only for women with sensitive nipple. Women with normal nipple and insists on using spectra 9 plus breast pump will cause milk supply to drop drastically? Is that true? I love the spectra 9 plus because of its outlook and lightweight. Seems like I have to give it a miss since I suspect I should be of normal nipple

Hi there. I didn't hear of such thing and among the mummies in my chat group 9+ was a v popular model and a few of my friends and I also using it. It did not make our supply drop but u have to know that it is not as powerful at the S1 which is a hospital grade. So if u compare the "suction" u use for S1 and S9, u have to use 1-2 level higher. If use the same level of suction, it can take longer to empty the boobs - then some pple pump by "time spent pumping" so they pump lesser out and then the supply will drop. So as long as u adjust the suction high enough, u will be able to get out the same amount of milk in the same time frame. With that in mind then u are safe :)

Hi mummies, just seen gynae and he says that the detailed scan found suggestive of fibroids. Is it common and will it pose any issues during pregnancy or delivery?

I just went for maternity tour at mount E novena hospital. The rooms look cosy and posh, but I am concerned about the support from nurses or midwifes.Are they well trained? I am deciding between this hospital and Thomson Medical centre for delivery.

I recently read about a blogger who delivered in mount e novena. Everything looks so good and cosy. Even she said the midwives are very comforting and assuring

Is rosehip oil useful to reduce stretch marks? Is it safe to use during pregnancy?

It's not recommend due to the Vitamin A content. Do consider using Bio Oil!

During pregnancy, I realize my memory gets a bit poorer and can't be very focused. Is this normal?
