Any review on Dr. Kazila Bhutia from KKH?

I will be giving birth via repeat Caesarean section on May 2018 for my 3rd baby. Would like to know if anyone have had Dr. Kazila Bhutia as their OB? Any feedbacks?

Hot belly! Is it safe?

Hi, I feel that my tummy gets really hot during the night. I’m in my third trimester. Do you have this? Is it safe for the baby? I think the temperature gets really high..!please advise

It's quite normal as your increased metabolic rate causes you to give off extra heat. Your baby's own body temperature can make your belly feel hot too. Try dressing in light cotton and use the AC/ fan at night. But if you are really worried about it, I suggest you talk to your doctor.

Visitors to hospital

I'm going to deliver my no2 by C section again. I'm wondering if I can tell all family members that I don't want visitors except for my Mom & dad who will be bringing my no.1 to visit. Also because I really don't want to have to face my in-laws after such a major operation and still have to Chit chat with them.... plus after c-section, you need to pass gas which is a healthy sign and breastfeed... had so many visitors for no1, I felt like I was unable to rest and I really hated it that my in laws visited daily and brought my Husband old baby photos... like I really don't care about it.. it's not a party or a social event!!! Lol My relationship with my in laws are kind of complicated too and it's awkward when my parents and them meet too due to some "fighting" over my no1 when he was a baby (basically my MIL suddenly wanted to look after my baby once a week and I said NO and she said I'm v rude in setting boundaries...haha) ... I really don't Want to have to think about such awkwardness after my c section!!!! but then it's like v bad if I don't allow my in laws to visit my no2 at the hospital?? Haiz

I feel you mummy. As i have similar situation, my understanding husband actually helped me in this. He was the one who told me that I should get more rest and shall not inform anyone else except my own parents and in laws BUT he will try to tell in laws that i need more rest, please try not to disturb me in hospital, if they would want to visit the baby, they may do so when we were alrd home or after 1st month. It helps! Get hubby to talk to them, tell them you just had c-sect and requires more rest than natural. Think they would understand better. So end up my In laws didnt come, only sil came and visit like less than 30mins. Other than that, only my parents came with my no1 to visit us in hospital.

Anyone on Dumex Mamil Mama?

Hi mommies, anyone drinking Dumex Mamil Mama during your pregnancy or breastfeeding? Im currently taking since my 2nd trimester n now my last one.. 38 weeks n counting days till i pop!? Find this milk has mild taste, compared to Anmum Materna chocolate which is super sweet. Read up this milk has folic acid, iron for growing babies inside.. *On a side note, look at my stocks of milk! ??

Hi, im into my wk 35 pregnancy, baby boy at 2.6kg last check a few days ago. Gynae did comment bb grow quite fast since last check. Ive gotta confess im having GD but after managing to curb my sweet tooth cravings for a few months, ive given in to my cheesecake cravings after monitoring all was well at wk 33... but after i tested myself eating some, i found the sugar to be within the range though on higher side. Im feeling guilty for fear of my baby health but i cannot stand not eating any sweet things anymore. Middle of the night, feeling too hungry & took milo with biscuit. I think im going mad. Help~~~

Hi there, mummy! Congrats on your new arrival soon to come. Your post made me smile as I had the exact same issue when I was pregnant with my second baby. There are a few things that could help you... 1. Eat a well balanced diet. Especially the meal before when you know you give into your sweet cravings. If you tend to snack in the night, then make sure your dinner is substantial. Which includes a healthy dose of carbs. 2. Swap the carbs for wholegrain options. I found that when I ate rice, I didn't crave too much sweet stuff. But I made sure I ate brown rice and not the starchy white rice. If you only like white rice, try basmati or ponni rice. Both are available in regular supermarkets. 3. Don't starve yourself of all sweet foods. I found that when I tried to stay away from sweets completely, I ended up binging on chocolate later in the day. So I treated myself to small amounts of fruit and sometimes a small square of dark chocolate when I really craved it. And I had it right after the meal so I felt really content with my meal. Hope these tips help.
