I am planning to take my 5yo to her friend's birthday party (pool party). Is there anything I should be mindful of? Can I let my child play in the water when there is a chance it might be dirty!

How did you choose your child's name?

I just got it from the internet. I knew from the start that I wanted a name that it quite unique but not too different that it would be difficult to spell or pronounce. Hence, my child's name is Harper.

New house stress

officially juzz moved in today. Bought house just 3 blocks aways from my parents . Mummy.. how wld u feel if u r shifting ur things n bringing ur baby ard 12am at night...my husband is crazy...wen we reach hm at our new house..5month baby started crying loud...i talk to him very nicely to closed the window of the balcony n kitchen...no good...then he start to scold me that i m superticious la....if i m nt happy..can always go back my parent house...feeling so depressed. Hw wld u feel.

I think there is nothing wrong in disciplining our children its one thing that would help them grow up as better individuals . My parents was a great disciplinarian and im also doing that to my children now. You said that you used to discipline your students at school right ? So dont hesitate to apply it also to your son . Working mums, How to take care of kid while at work? I am little afraid of entrusting him to some one else.

By someone else, do you mean nannies or child care professionals? If it bothers you so much, are there any other options? Maybe your parents or in laws? I'm sure they will take care of your child well and you can have ease of mine. Alternatively, before hiring a nanny, you could conduct thorough interviews and background checks so as to ensure the best for your child.
