Lazy husb beyond repair?
We have been using reusable masks for 2 years now and not even once has my husb ever washed his own mask. He just leaves it together with the other dirty masks and i will soak and wash them all. When i forget, it could even end up soaking overnight. Is this normal or is he just plain lazy?

Emergency/Rescue cerclage in Singapore
This is a misfortunate for us that we lost our baby at week 17 after 5 years of marriage and both of us are in mid 38 and we are still trying to deal with it. Me wife had a severe cramping at week 17 and we rushed to KK A&E. After 1 hour waiting, the doctor examined her and said that unfortunately her cervix opened and the baby is being pushed out and was told that she is undergoing inevitable miscarriage. We both cried and she along with the physical pain, had to go through the mental pain of losing our baby. Later she was admitted in the ward and I was with her the whole time of admission (had to take ward A as she wants me to be with her), and when asked the doctor, she said it could be multiple reasons and next time when she gets pregnant we will tie the uterus (cerclage). But on asking how much the cervix got opened, the doctor said the A&E didn't record it but it could have been (assumption) that it is in state of not able to stitch it. I am still thinking about it and want to know 1. does anybody done rescue/emergency cerclage in singapore that is push the baby back and tie the cerclage, if so what was your dilation and week in such a circumstance 2. Why the A&E didn't mention the length of opening in the cervix in their report and sinply said nothing could have been done. Can readers advice whether they underwent a similar procedure and what your thoughts on it. Appreciate your response and your time.

COVID-19 amidst pregnancy
Feeling quite low after knowing that my colleagues met a COVID-19 patient during our split-team shift. Because of the interaction, MOH has taken my details (pending next course of action). Hopefully everything turns out positively. As a frontline worker, the worst case scenario would be that I contacted COVID-19. Both wife and I have vaccinated, so not too concerned about us getting COVID-19, but I am definitely worried about the elder folks at our home and the ongoing pregnancy at the 10th week (not sure how COVID will affect pregnancy). Just finding an avenue to vent out the worry I have for wifey's pregnancy (this 10 weeks has not been easy for her). Also trying to find support from front-line dads and moms who have faced or might be facing similar situations.

Confinement nanny cancelled :(
I initially arranged for a confinement nanny through an agency for my first child. But the nanny they had in plan for me last minute had to go back to Malaysia and the agency isn’t able to find me a replacement. They just decided to refund the full amount that I paid. And I’m now left with few options since both parents / families aren’t here with us physically. I was thinking of managing it on my own, maybe getting confinement food delivery, while my husband helps out with the rest of house work & taking turns to take care of the baby. Any tips for first time parents through the first month? For baby & mommy.
