My toddler son recently got hfmd from his childcare and I suppose it has spreaded to me and my 5mo infant. Qns: can I still latch my 5mo and express milk for her to drink? PS. We r making arrangement to go see doc now.

Hi mummy Yes, still can breastfeed and let your lo drink the ebm. In fact, now you should continue breastfeed your baby to make sure he is hydrated. Take care.

Any of your LO drinks ️Similac intelli-Pro formula milk? Does your LO has phelgmy sound ? Cause constipation? I find it very sweet. Wanted to change to other brands. Tried Nan Optipro2 and it gives him constipation. I'm thinking of trying Mamil gold 2.. Any of your LO tried mamil gold and doesn't give constipation ?

My son drinks Simiac too. Its fine for him.

mix feeding like daily bm and night fm? OR finish up frozen stash den take fm? will baby reject bm once she try fm? will she have probs like constipation or phlegm?

My baby 15months old, past 3days she can't drink milk properly, she don't like to to drink, day&night 3 times 180ml only drink, rest of time she won't drink milk, Any one advise me, how to manage to drink, how to increase her hungry, thanks Nisha.

Give her milk first then after that give her water. Maybe she is thirsty and not hungry?

At what age is it recommended for babies to sit on a high chair and jumperoo?

Most recommend waiting until a baby is 6 months old before using a high chair.

My 8 weeks old baby has mouth ulcer from ?HFMD (coz he got fever and rashes too). He wanted to latch but he is crying everytime he does. Sometimes he suckle but most of the time he will just cry. I am syringe feeding him just to avaid dehydration. What else I can do for him? It's painful to see him like this..

Watch for wet diapers. Not much you can do now. Sorry that she's not well

Has anyone delayed the MMR vaccination for LO? and how long did you delay it?

Which dose are you referring to? I had delayed the 2nd dose for about 3 weeks and it was fine.

my 9months old baby is still not able to sit unassisted nor able to stand. wondering is this normal? do I have to teach him to sit or stand? or they will learn by themselves?

From your observation, is there anything you think is not right, eg his neck muscle seems weak or he gains only little weight ? By age he already supposed to be able to sit on his own, though every child differs. Still, follow your instincts and ask your paed to do assessments,coz at least if there's something need attention, it can be done early.
