Hi, my baby (6 months old) is supposed to go for his vaccination tomorrow . But he is still having flu. I've called clinic and the nurse said as long as he is not having fever is ok . But if I don't feel comfortable about it, to postpone to next week. So is best to delay one week, right?

You should delay when the baby is sick.

My 17 mo son is crying non stop. I'm in the process of weaning him with the help of my parents. I have very low milk production and he's getting frustrated and crying non stop. We are at our wits end. Any suggestions?

Agree with Jacq. Additionally, try to surround him with things that are comfortable or familiar (music he's been hearing since he was a newborn, a favourite blanket or toy), and try to talk to him and tell him what's going on. Try to have him eat lots also of regular food so he won't cry out of hunger. You can also distract him with trips to the park or by playing with a pet. Lastly, stay calm and hang in there! I will wean in a month's time and both my sister and sister-in-law said that the non-stop crying lasts for only 2 days then the child will get the message that mummy has no more milk or that he can't drink from mummy anymore.

Anyone has any problem when changing teats to a bigger hole or from slow flow to medium flow? I tried changing the teat for my lo as she is taking very long to finish her milk and sometimes she don't even finishes it up. After changing the teat, it doesn't get better. She is leaking the milk and will choke while drinking. My lo is breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

I'm using pigeon teat SS. My lo is 4 months now. At times, she can finish the bottle within half an hour. If not, she will take up to an hour to clear the bottle or sometimes don't even finish.

My 5mths old boy have started sleeping thru the night. Last feed will be around 7pm-8pm, and that will drag until the next morning 8am-9am. At times not wanting to drink instead he wants to play. Is this normal?

If he misses the last feed, he will also sttn till 8/9am? Some baby really loves to sleep, i think it is a real blessing because at least mummy can get a good rest and sleeping is good for brain development. I wouldn't say it is normal or not but if he never wake up crying for milk, then should let baby sleep then...

What are the pros and cons of baby led weaning?

The only cons, mess! I can't tolerate the mess! That's my biggest struggle.

My baby is 4mth old and will soon be transiting to a jumperoo/exersaucer, however recently I've been told that a jumperoo & a walker does not benefit our bubs. It actually does harm due to the tiptoeing and bouncing. Has anyone experienced the same and could advise? I believe a walker was part of our growing up for most of the adults now.

How much portion of solids should I feed to a 6-7month breastfed baby per serving? How many servings per day? Any feeding schedule sample? Recently found that my baby has abdominal discomfort and constipation. Feeding her EBM 80-100ml 3-4hourly. Solids (2-3 tsp per serving) after an hour later the milk feed. 3 servings of rice cereal and 1 serving of fruit puree per day. Is it too much for 6-7month baby?

As i understand there are milk bottles of different capacity (330 ml 260 ml etc) how many milk bottles of different capacities will i be needing in next 1 year? I plan to breast feed with pumping once maternity leave is over. Confused to be first time mom Thanks in advance
